Australian bassist and bandleader Leigh Barker has lived in Paris since 2016. As one of the most in demand bassists on the European scene he tours regularly with Gordon Webster, The Shirt Tail Stompers, Naomi and Her Handsome Devils and many other swing and classic jazz combos. 

Since 2021 Leigh has focused more on bringing his own group to events around Europe and for Sunday June 18 he has assembled 4 of his favourite musicians in Switzerland, as he travels down to play at the Ascona Jazz Festival. 

Antipodean swing, unpretentious virtuosity, and character-filled interpretations of all the classic repertoire guarantee a stomping night out on the dance floor.
