The Lucas Montagnier Organ Trio, founded in 2016 by Parisian guitarist and singer Lucas Montagnier, revives the jazz, blues, and swing of the 1950s and 1960s with organist Clement Prioul and drummer Pascal Mucci—featuring original compositions and standards (Jimmy Smith, Wes Montgomery, Ray Charles, Jack McDuff…).

The trio is joined by American saxophonist Sam Burckhardt, who comes from a long-established Basel family and has lived in Chicago since 1982. He has recorded two albums with Lucas Montagnier and performed in clubs in Paris, the U.S., and Switzerland. In 2008, he was honored with the Swiss Blues Award.
